Auf dem 427 Km Radwanderweg findet von der Quelle bei Zell bis zur Mündung der Saale bei Barby ein Olympialauf statt. Die originale Olympiafackel von München 1972 wird dabei von etwa 25 Läufern abwechselnd getragen.

Am Dienstag dem 7. Oktober etwa gegen 15.30 Uhr machen die Läufer auf ihrer 7. Etappe ihren letzten Zwischenstopp in Nienburg. Dies ist Anlaß einen Olympischen Tag einzuplanen.

Starting at the source of the river Saale near Zell , an olympic race will take place on the 427 km long cycleway ending at the mouth of the river near Barby. The olympic torch originating from the olympic games of 1972 in Munich will be carried alternately by 25 runners.

On Tuesday, 7th October at approximately 3.30 pm the runners will take their last break during the 7th stage of the race at Nienburg. For this reason we are planning an Olympic Day.

Un cours d' Olympia a lieu sur le chemin de roue (qui a une longueur de 427 km) de la source du fleuve Saale près de Zell jusqu'à l'embouchure près de Barby. La torche originale d' Olympia à Munich en 1972 est portée alternativement par environ 25 coureurs à cela.

A cela, les coureurs font leur dernière escale au 7 octobre vers 15.30 heures sur leur 7e étape à Nienburg.  De cette raison, il est à prévoir un jour olympique.
